 Island Camp Baringo offers a perfect opportunity to escape the humdrum of city life or a change of pace in between visiting the many national parks. Luxury tents
The Island Camp Baringo comprises of 23 luxury tents with en-suite bathroom whether Twin, Double or Triple (for families).
All the tents are shaded by a roof of Papyrus (local reeds) and are separated by green lawns and natural rockeries. They overlook the lake and beyond to the Great Rift Valley. The majority of the Tents face the east to catch the beautiful sunrises across the lake. For honey mooners, the Honeymoon suite is bigger and with a beautiful decor. Leisure activities The Island Camp Baringo is the perfect location to sit back, relax and watch the world go by. One can experience some of these activities as well: Culture Walk Walk across the Island and meet the local community, visit the school and soak up the Njema's culture.
Lake Shore Cruise / Champagne Breakfast
Experience the early morning sunlight as you cruise across to the lake shore and see hippo wallowing in the shallows. Waterfowl mingle with the basking crocodiles amidst the ringing sound of tree frogs. The trip back includes the spectacle of fish eagles feeding. An optional extra you can choose to end your Lake Shore Cruise with a Champagne Breakfast, you will be served breakfast on a secluded Island Beach.
