A home away from home, Rurigi house is a serene environment for those who desire alternative accommodation from the conventional hotels. It is a big house with modern fittings, designed to offer comfort and warmth to every guest. It is also tastefully furnished with parquet flooring and ceramic tiles for wet areas. Rurigi House is positioned such that it allows enough morning light to filter into the rooms and this makes it very comfortable and relaxing too.

Bedrooms
There are eight(8) bedrooms all en-suite and tastefully furnished.

Four of the rooms have both a bath and a shower and the other three have a shower area only.

There's a good supply of hot water here.
Every bedroom is fitted with a TV.

There's a telephone connected to all rooms. A mini fridge is also available on request.  

Facilities and Services

The lawn is well-tended and it has a variety of shrubs. It is a pleasant place to relax and enjoy the Sunday lunch barbeque. 

This is quite exquisite with high ceilings and attractive lighting. 

The living room has a warm and friendly ambience and it flows into the large dining room which also doubles as the bar area.

In one corner there's a computer (with high speed Internet access) available for guests.

This room opens to a balcony where again, one can enjoy the calmness of the outdoors.

Rurigi House  has two kitchens. The main kitchen is on the upper floor and this is essentially the area where all meals are prepared. It is quite spacious and has a breakfast area.
The other one (situated on the ground floor) is available for self catering guests. Both kitchens have modern kitchen equipment.

Gigiri area is the heart of the diplomatic circuit and as such the Diplomatic Police arm of the Kenya Police offer round the clock security support. None-the-less Rurigi house is surrounded by a perimeter wall with an electric fence. Any visitors coming in can be seen at the gate through a mini TV on the intercom and we have both day and night guards on duty.
