Kakamega National Reserve

Kakamega National Reserve is the only remnat of once great tropicalrain forest that streached across Central Africa a home to hundred of bird species  and reptiles.

Found420kms from Nairobi,that is  in Western province,Kakamega National Reserve has got an altitude of 1,500 to 1,700 metres above sea level, with annual rainfall over 2,000mm per year. At present,the reserve do not have the Safari Cardso the entry is payable at the entrance gate daily at 6:00am-7:00pm. including public holidays.
