Karen Blixen Museum The museum used to be the home of Karen Blixen who was the author of “Out of Africa”. She lived in the house between 1914 and 1931 when she left the country due to personal tragedies. Kenya National Museum The museum is commonly referred to as the “birth of humanity” and it is home to Kenya’s history. The museum contains cultural artifacts from Kenyan tribes. The museum is situated in Nairobi. National Archives The national archives are situated in Nairobi city. On display are historical photographs and paintings. Railway Museum The museum is located at the main railway station, and on display are historical locomotives and coaches.
